Digi Youth Arts
Where We Stand
Digi Youth Arts will be led by the Jinibara People to create an immersive experience sharing a future, that is connected to the past and grounded in the present. This experience is led by community engagement practices and is part of Digi Youth Arts’ where we stand project. where we stand is a cross-community multi-arts project where Indigenous young people make work in response to country and place. With outcomes across Queensland, Digi Youth Arts will capture the past, present and future of this land’s identity through the eyes of the youngest generation of one of the oldest surviving cultures in the world.

Being the Future
Indigenous artists all across the country are taking the next steps from the Elders and creative leaders who have gone before them. The reclamation and resurgence of culture through creative practice makes for exciting time for young First Nations artists. Despite this progress, this country still has a long way to go. Digi Youth Arts discuss the realities of being an Indigenous artist, and why the only future is First Nations.
