From his humble beginnings making family and friends laugh at the local tavern, to the capital city comedy venues around Australia, to selling out festival halls in Edinburgh, Dane Simpson has forged the kind of career in comedy that a kid from Wagga Wagga could only have dreamed of. Having honed his craft with steady work around Australia, he launched his classic ‘yarn comedy’ show DIDGERIDOOZY in 2021. The crowd pleasing routine, drawn from his family history and Indigenous heritage, was a huge hit.
