Rich and diverse Arabic music is delivered by this ensemble. Zuhir Naji (oud/vocals) is from Damascus, Syria where he worked as a singer with a folk music ensemble and ran a music school, teaching oud. He has been performing since his arrival in Australia in 2016. Percussionist/virtuoso hand-drummer Saleh Al Mansour plays darabukka, tambourin and small hand drums is from Bazra, Iraq. Saleh arrived in Australia in 2010. He was a long-time member of the Kuwaiti Arab television Orchestra, and he plays Iraqi and Arabic music in a variety of traditional styles.
